Christkindl Market Coming to North Loop

Shop holiday goodies from local vendors on the weekends from November 22–December 22. by Madeline Cisneros, Minnesota St. Paul Magazine November 4, 2024 Minneapolis Christkindl Market Get bundled up and head over to North Loop Green to experience a new outdoor winter market wonderland. During the weekends of November 22–December 22, the space will transform into the Minneapolis Christkindl Market, “a world of twinkling lights, alpine-style wooden houses and the cozy aroma of mulled wine,” according to the market organizers. The market will feature food, drinks, and shopping from 30 local vendors representing 15 countries, including items like bratwursts, French crêpes, and spiced glühwein. There’s also an entertainment lineup and activities for kids. The outdoor event is free to attend. This is the first year of the German-style holiday market at North Loop Green. Last year, the North Loop hosted a winter market for one day in December that featured handcrafted gifts from local businesses, food, and a holiday photo booth.
